Heat Notes

HeatNotes is an application that can both characterize the thermal stress that animals may suffer from and suggest the risk management program to deal with it.

HeatNotes can automatically calculate the THI (Temperature and Hygrometry Index) on the basis of meteorological data or manually directly on-farm, to evaluate the risk of heat stress that animals. The application also provides access to short-term forecasts. A specific module is used to define a feed supplement program to control the risk of heat stress and to edit the recommendations and the risk management program.
