A trace element for cows is essential: copper. Grass covers only 5% to 30% of copper requirements. Nutritional tests carried out in the Caen laboratory show that approximately 75% of dairy herds are deficient in copper.

It is an essential element for Super Oxide Dismutase (SODe) and ceruloplasmin which are 2 important antioxidants. Copper is also essential for collagen, therefore for the growth of young animals and the integrity of organs such as the heart or blood vessels.

Copper also participates in hair coloring. Copper deficient animals were found to have more embryonic mortality.

Cuivre liquide in mineral form and chelated form is used to optimize its assimilation and prevent negative interactions.
